Ardeer

Located 16 kilometres west-north-west of the Central Business District, Ardeer is a suburb in Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria. Since the community is less than 30 minutes away from the City Centre, it enjoys quick access to the cosmopolitan provisions of the city proper. The suburb's estimated population of 2,582 people occupies a land area of 2.1 square kilometres, thereby making it one of the more densely populated areas in the state.

Part of the Local Government Area of the City of Brimbank, the community of Ardeer is situated within the State District of Derrimut (in the Victorian Legislative Assembly) and the Federal Division of Gorton (in the Australian House of Representatives). With the Kororoit Creek running along its northern and western borders, its surrounding suburbs include Albion, Cairnlea, Deer Park, Saint Albans, and Sunshine West.
